Ranked Texas is here to put Texas high school wrestling in the spotlight. Wrestling is the toughest sport on earth. It demands unmatched discipline, sacrifice, toughness, and resilience. Yet far too often, the athletes who give everything to the sport do not receive the attention they have earned.
We are here to change that. Ranked Texas covers the wrestlers, rivalries, rankings, results, and stories driving high school wrestling across the state. Our mission is to recognize the athletes, celebrate their accomplishments, and give Texas wrestling the platform it deserves.

For too long, Texas high school wrestling has been bigger than its coverage.
Major wins happen in crowded gyms. Breakout wrestlers emerge between tournaments. Rivalries grow, rankings shift, and season-defining matches can pass without the attention or context they deserve.
Ranked Texas was built to change that.

But the process should never be random.
We evaluate head-to-head results, tournament placement, strength of schedule, recent performance, weight-class context, and postseason success. Every ranking is built on results, context, and a commitment to getting it right.
The goal is bigger than simply listing names. Rankings should recognize elite work, create meaningful conversation, and raise the stakes every time Texas wrestlers step on the mat.
