A Ranked+ subscription gives you full access to all of our rankings pages, including statewide rankings and regional rankings for Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Austin to the Valley. You’ll also get access to Pound-for-Pound rankings for each of those ranking boards. Going forward, we will no longer post our rankings on social media, so the only place to access the best wrestling rankings in Texas will be through a Ranked+ subscription.

No. Over the past two years, we’ve built a statewide following through our rankings, tournament coverage, and athlete profiles, and we’re going to continue that mission. The only change is that our rankings will now be exclusive to Ranked+ subscribers on RankedTexas.com, while our other wrestling coverage will continue to be shared with the Texas wrestling community.

We put a tremendous amount of time and effort into covering wrestling across the state of Texas. Charging for rankings allows us to make the time commitment more sustainable for our team while continuing to invest in better rankings, more coverage, and more exposure for Texas wrestlers. Our goal is to keep the vast majority of Ranked Texas content free while using Ranked+ to help support the continued growth of the platform.

Yes. Articles will remain free. We want Ranked Texas to be a hub where wrestlers across the state can share their stories with friends, family, schools, and their communities. We will never write an article about an athlete and then make their grandma pay to read it. Athlete stories and features will always remain free to access and share.

Once the high school wrestling season begins, rankings will be updated every Wednesday. Our goal is to provide consistent weekly updates throughout the season so wrestlers, coaches, and fans always have an up-to-date picture of where things stand across Texas.

Texas is a huge state, which is why we believe regional rankings are an important part of our coverage. They give wrestlers a chance to measure themselves against the best competition in their area, regardless of UIL classification. Regional rankings also allow us to recognize more deserving wrestlers and highlight athletes who may be just outside the statewide Top 20 but are still among the best in their part of Texas.

Yes. Ranked+ will be offered as a monthly subscription this season, and you can cancel at any time. We don’t want anyone locked into a year-long commitment. We want to earn your support by delivering the best rankings in Texas: updated weekly, carefully researched, and thoughtfully put together.

Ranked Texas is simply the next evolution of what we started with Ranked Houston. When we launched this project, we never planned on expanding our coverage across the entire state. But as the platform grew over the past few years, we realized there were too many great wrestlers, programs, and stories across Texas to limit our focus to Houston. Ranked Texas allows us to continue what we started while giving more athletes across the state a platform.
